It has been awhile since i last sew a bag.Good thing my friends in facebook has organised a sew along.Good

timing .I am quite in the mood to do some bag making.So today i startet of by photostating the template and

enlarged Amy's tutorial.Her tiny winy fonts are not kind to my eyes.So i took the liberty to photostat the book.

I have also chosen the materials.I like to do things even before the stipulated time as
i fear i might be busy during the early week of May and miss all the datelines..i have chosen heavy decorative chennile in maroon for exterior and plain cotton red polka dot for the lining.All materials are gathered from left overs curtain projects from bygone days.I am using dark colors to play save..sometimes my stitches just go wonky.....The next hurdle would be to digest ..(baca dah banyak kali...dah stuck kat bahagian how to sew the hip.)Amy's tutorial..I must definitely tag along closely with friends on facebook..

Scraps from curtain fabric sample book.

Today i did some cleaning up on some of my sample books which holds discontinued fabrics.Here are some which i managed to pull out to feast your eyes:

They all measure 18 inch by 12 inch.

 Then i started looking up for tutorials for fast projects   using scraps.And after an hour i manage to come out with this:

The fabric matches my coffee mug..

And then another one:

And another huhuhu....

When i finished the third pouch it was already 6.00pm..time to leave...i could go on and on making these beauties..now i have reduced my scraps but added a lot of pouches in my collection...

Thanx Jeni for the easy tutorial.I added the handles for the first two lined drawstring pouch..Funny how little things can make me smile from ear to ear...

These orders are from Jitra Kedah....2 sets of rekod book covers..simple,no quilt no batting....

Puan Norma Musa i hope you like it.Not too sure of the length of the handles.But i think this looks ok.
The cosmo bag (my version..hihihi which is actually a marriage between Amy's Cosmo and Lisa's bucket)is also done..

So Puan Norma i will get the bucket stripes bag done and post to you both in one delivery..Stay tune for updates ya...

A pouch to house my telekung..

It has been soooo long since i made my last bag.Blame it to my busy (haha)schedule.So today in between cutting curtains an attending to customer(only 2 today...oh yes!business is crawling)i managed to cheer my monday with a simple pouch  for holding my telekung aka prayer attire..I got inspired from Jeni's blog here.

And in the meantime i am still working on another huge cosmo bag..Well i just manage to cut,iron on interfacing ..and the rest will just have to wait.I
wonder when i can continue...

I will keep on sewing this giant till perfection...to my standard of course..
