Drawstring pouch

I was so bored doing curtains today .So i just let my hands go free and doodle with the massive amount of fabrics that i have collected for the past two months.I wanted to make something out of this trio..

But then,i thought a touch of green will do more justice to this cup of coffee fabric from KAMDAR..polka dot and green materials are from NAGOYA

Sekadar ingin melepaskan rindu terhadap aktiviti membuat bag.Tapi ape kan daya.Kalau mula buat beg mesti tak dapat disiapkan kerana tugasan lain yang bertimbun..jadik lah buat drawstring pouch dengan mengopi tutorial disini.

Am missing this small cyber space..

A month has passed ..Has it been that long ?.How i miss making bags.Untill i get through some rough times at my work station this space is going to be a little bit lonesome ....

A point to remember..

When making quilted bags,always remember to cut your lining only after you have quilted and join all the front pieces together.That way you will get a perfect measurement for the interior lining fabric.and avoid wastage of materials...I am so happy with  this polka dot lining interior.For once the interior look neat and clean..

Look clean except for the bump on the left..Haish!

two side pockets..nice snuggle for my handset.

Magnetic snap button closure..i love snap buttons..easy to install and nice to touch as oppose to zippers.

Some bags ended up under my cutting table...

Sometimes when the mood just isn't right it shows in my sewing.Just look at this two buddies..Unpicked several times  but still did not look good.I am giving them a rest .In my quest to rectify little crooked stitches i almost butchered the fabric...  hahaha

Just stay there quietly till i get back my patience to deal with both of you...

Do not despair...more bags on the way...am not giving up..

The blue ikea fabric and the pink roses on the left is for a bag order while on the right are place mats and cozies in progress..
