Triangular straight edge pouch...

Here comes MAY....nice day to start blogging...If any of you been following my rambles from years back....i love making bags and pouches besides making curtains and other soft furnishing for interiors.Since daughter took over my curtain business in KUALA LUMPUR..,and i have moved to this small village in TERENGGANNU,i am focussing on small crafts to sew..The reason being i have only my NV50BROTHER to walk me through any sewing projects..As i will be here for a very short time, its not economical to bring all my beautiful machines here..

Yesterday i managed to complete this cosmetic pouch..I have incoporated the straight edge triangular pouch with the roll brush kit..I have been making these two pouches separately for quite sometime..after several trials and errors ,i finally picked up the courage to combine them both..

Denim fabric is from Daiso, polka dots from spotlight and the flap is japanese cotton from CJELITA

When folded it measures 8 inch(width) × 5 inch(height)

Its sunday here and a working day...Looking forward for tommorow to do my morning walk at the beach..Managed to capture some photos of people fishing this evening....i think they will be here throughout the night...

Hello dear blog of mine....

As salamualaikum......How i miss this little space ....since i had my instagram account i lost all interest in blogging...I still sew a lot these days, besides cooking, washing, beach walking and travelling every two weeks down to KL and  up to Terenggannu..

Sewing is just a hobby these days...I need to keep on sewing to keep me sane and do justice to all the bits of scraps hijacked from daughter's studio ..

I just arrived at my second residence in Merang setiu at 1pm..I also brought along with me a bag of scraps to doodle with for the next 2 weeks..

Lets hope i can survive updating this blog and document every sewing session for the following days...Insyaalah.....

Posting on a beautiful month of september...

After 2 months of silence,i am now finding some me time to sit in front of this wide screen lappy to share my handwork on bag making..Although the daily routine work have kept me away from making bags,i make it a point to  sew just simple ones to keep me sane and make sure that all the techniques i have pick up are still intact and not forgotten..

And here are some diaper bags and simple multi purpose totes...

This bag could fit a quran and a set of telekung and is good to bring along to usrah or masjid.
It measures 17 inch x 9 inch with velcro closure..

This bright green has been sold and measures the same as the black white stripe tote above

This quilted diaper tote bag is quite big to accomodate all the baby stuff. It measures
16 inch x 10 inch with 6 inch gusset..4 exterior pockets and one zipper pocket on the interior. There is a top zip closure.

This is another pink diaper bag with same dimension as the yellow tote above.

Hello june....i have been away from this baggy world for quite awhile..

That's because my world was circling round my curtain business..but that's not the real excuse for not updating. The truth being there were no bags to show off..

So in the midst of clearing up my scrap store,i I found some lovely leftover fabrics from past  baby basket projects..and I made some lovely lined drawstring pouches..

Have a nice day.
